GENERAL CONDITIONS For the Miniconf

This post will gather the general information about LCA2010 for attendants and Miniconf Presenters

  • Miniconf Presenters

This information is very important in case that you decide to present at the Miniconf after your talk is accepted.

I highlighted some relevant terms but it is taken verbatim from this page of the official LCA2010 site.

“The Miniconf Presenters are the people who present talks at a Miniconf. The Miniconf Presenters must register online and pay their registration fee. Generally Miniconf Presenters register as a Delegate, which entitles them to the benefits … ” (you can find them here).

There are a limited number of “Monday+Tuesday only” tickets available for Miniconf Presenters only. To obtain this ticket, Primary Miniconf Organisers must arrange this with the LCA2010 Organisers in advance of the Miniconf Presenter registering for LCA2010.”

Clarification: if your talk/presentation is accepted for the Miniconf, and you decide to attend ONLY Monday+Tuesday, then contact me immediately so I can process this request with the LCA general organisers.

  • CONSENTS

If you presented a paper for LCA, you are already aware of the conditions below.

They also regulate the content presented at this Miniconf and you must accept them as part of the Conditions to present your talk.

I allow Linux Australia to release any recordings of my presentations, tutorials and minconfs under the Creative Commons Attribution-Share Alike License

I allow Linux Australia to release any other material (such as slides) from my presentations, tutorials and minconfs under the Creative Commons Attribution-Share Alike License

I confirm that I have the authority to allow Linux Australia to release the above material. i.e., if your talk includes any information about your employer, or another persons copyrighted material, that person has given you authority to release this information.
